Keep your home cool for less this spring and summer with our new rebate on central air conditioning.
If your central air conditioning unit is 12 years old or older, you could save up to 30 percent on your cooling costs by replacing it with an ENERGY STAR qualified model. We offer a $250 rebate for air conditioning units rated SEER 16 or higher.
We’ve also raised our rebate for air-source heat pumps to a cool $1,200. You’ll save year after year by installing a more energy-efficient system. Air-source heat pumps rated SEER 16 or higher qualify.
If you’re looking for other ways to save, don’t forget about our instant discounts on LED light bulbs at participating retailers. The discount is automatically taken at the register when you check out. And if you have an old fridge or freezer, let us do the heavy lifting. We’ll recycle it and you’ll collect a cool $35. It’s easy to sign up. Call 1-877-486-9204 or visit pplelectric.com/recycle.

Hello,
We bought a 15 Seer AC/Heat Pump from Hilltech 2 weeks ago. They said there was a PPL Rebate ($100) for purchase of a new, energy star/efficient AC Unit (the old one was 17 years old). I couldn’t find any information on this on your website. Would someone be able to tell me if there is a rebate for purchasing a new energy efficient AC/Heat Pump Unit (Bryant Brand Legacy Series). Thank you! Susan
Hi, Susan. Here’s information on the web about heat pump and central air conditioning rebates: http://www.eeprograms.net/ppl/landing-page-energy-efficient. We’ll pass your email address on to that team for more information, but in the meantime feel free to call 1-877-486-9204 to learn more.
It’s good to know that I can get a rebate on my air conditioning. Lately, I’ve been having some trouble getting it to run properly. It’s at least thirteen years old, so given the information in this article, I should be able to get a rebate that will help me save up to 30% on getting it fixed.
