If you’re in the Carlisle area and looking for ways to save on your energy bill, you won’t want to miss an event on Thursday, Dec. 17.

PPL Electric Utilities employees will be at Project SHARE in Carlisle from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. that day to help customers find ways to save on their electric bills. The event is free and open to the public, and no reservation is needed.

Employees will be available to assist income-eligible customers in applying for heating help through LIHEAP, PPL’s Winter Relief Assistance Program (WRAP), and OnTrack payment plans.

A member of our E-power team will be on hand providing energy efficiency education, and several computers will be available for customers to shop online for a lower cost electricity provider.

All attendees should bring their PPL account number, available on their monthly bill or through their online account. Customers interested in applying for a program should also bring proof of income if possible, such as a W-2, paystubs, or a letter from their employer on company letterhead.

Project SHARE is located at 5 N. Orange St. #4, Carlisle, PA 17013.
