For employees at our Sunbury Service Center, making the season bright means more than just providing reliable electric service for holiday light shows.

Employees in Sunbury gave close to $400 in a donation drive to benefit Toys For Tots, which distributes toys to needy children across the United States. Employees also donated toys, as well.

“By taking advantage of Cyber Monday and other holiday deals, we were able to make both of our Toys For Tots donation boxes overflow with toys this year,” Regional Affairs Director Tracie Witter said. “We appreciate our employees’ generosity, and we’re proud to know that our gifts will put smiles on children’s faces this year.”

Employees throughout our 29-county service area support seasonal causes around this time every year, like clothing collection drives and toy donations. We’ll have more info on other charitable drives here on Stories.
