Two former Warrior Run School District students taught today’s kids about careers in the energy industry at the district’s Career Fair on Tuesday, March 26.

Field Supervisor Adam Rearick and Journeyman Lineman Trainee Jim Stoltzfus met with students in grades 2 through 4, showing them a PPL line truck and protective equipment such as insulated gloves. They also shared their paths to their current careers and gave out PPL coloring books and crayons.

Rearick and Stoltzfus are both based at PPL Electric Utilities’ Sunbury Service Center.

While our field employees can’t always take part in school events due to their work schedules, we enjoy offering students a look at our work and our industry where we can. Here’s another story about our employees revisiting their old school to teach kids about electricity and the electric industry.
