Tip 2: Prep your A/C for peak performance

Step 1: Mark inside the window casing where to attach the bracket.
Step 2: Secure the shade brackets to the window casing.
Step 3: Insert the shade into the bracket on each side.

Here’s a Tip: Grab some coolers to keep drinks cold instead of repeatedly going into the house to open the fridge, preventing cold air from escaping, which makes your appliances work harder.

Do you support smart meters and if so, is there a preferred source? I live in Lake Ariel, pa 19436.
We have a well ventilated home and have essentially never used A/C.
Good afternoon Darold, In 2019, we finished installing new, advanced meters for our 1.4 million customers. New meter installation was part of a plan approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. I wish you could predict YOUR semi-annual increase a BIT sooner than the last day of May/November. I can research the supplier options night and day. But when i see your increase, it’s going to take 30 days, minimum to switch to a better rate. Twice a year, I end up paying more than I need to pay.
Why can’t you publish your 5/31 increase/decease on May 1 ? It would give customers time to make a switch, if they want, without a month (two if we count November) of possible 28% over payment.
I arrived at this number by deviding the increase, 3.97, by the new rate, 14.09.
Fortunately for me, I anticipated an increase and switched to a company guaranteed to be .07% less than rate that May 30. I was correct. In doing so, I did avoid a June over payment.
I don’t like building my utility budget “Guessing” your rate plan.
Excellent tips for saving &$

Good afternoon Joann, while we cannot see your account and can only guess it is not on any specific program, running your dishwasher is not cheaper any specific time of the day. You may want to read about our Time of Use program to see if it may benefit you under http://www.pplelectric.com/tou. Thanks.

I think the ideas are great especially the window film and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do
Great ideas I already use, Thank You’ lowering your thermostat helps as well and start early morning will save your unit from over working once the heat does set in after being away and returning to a hot house it works over use of your unit!!!!!!!
Freeze some water, juices etc. put in cooler with ice and ice packs keeps drinks cold for longer and as others thaw out you have more cold drinks
Great tips! I’m heading out for the window film. You still have light while blocking the heat. Thank you
I already wrote U a book and I Kno my Gmail and being on-track
