Safety/Security

Our top priority is safety.

Your safety and the security of your information are important to us.

We want you to know the risks of electricity and how to stay safe around it. And when extreme weather strikes, we want you to be prepared so you can keep your family safe and comfortable.

We also want to help protect you from utility scams and other deceptive and misleading tactics you need to know to stop scammers in their tracks.

Remember: Electrical circuits don’t always turn off when a power line falls into a tree or onto the ground. Even if they are not sparking or humming, downed power lines can kill you if you touch them. Even the ground nearby can be energized.

Do you have an emergency plan?

Do you have an emergency plan?

What would we do if a severe storm caused us to lose electricity for several days? What would we eat? Would we have enough to drink? What else did my family need to be prepared? Every family has its own needs. Some of us have children, pets or are caring for someone with special medical needs. Part of being prepared is making plans ahead of time and we have all the resources you need to make a plan.
