Apply for our payment plans and assistance programs

We understand each household across our territory is unique.  That’s why we offer a range of options to help manage your bill and make it as affordable as possible, regardless of your income.

We have options for all customers, whether you own or rent your home and whether you have a past due balance or not. We also have assistance programs for income eligible customers. These options may include free grants to help pay your bill.

It’s easy to apply. Sign into your online account at pplelectric.com and click “Get help paying.” Answer a few questions about your household income and we’ll match you with a program that will benefit you most.

Options for all customers:

Payment arrangements: Get help paying a past-due balance over time.

Budget billing: We’ll take the average of your last 12 months of electric use to make your monthly payments more predictable.

Due date extension: If you’re current with your bill but need a little extra time to pay, apply for an extension.

Due date changes: If your balance is paid in full, you can select a due date that fits your pay schedule or budget.

OnTrack: Get a fixed monthly payment based on your income. You may qualify for debt forgiveness, too.

Operation HELP: Grants for homeowners and renters to help pay your electric bill.

    Paid bill 2 times this month. Is there any way to get one refunded. It’s really killing my other bill pay for the month.

      Good afternoon Frank, Please contact our Customer Service team weekdays 8am-5pm at 1-800-342-5775 (say billing during the prompts) with you refund request. If the payment has not cleared the bank yet, you may want to cancel the payment with them. Thanks.

Operation Help is a PPL program funded by donations from customer & our company that provides a credit to your account. LIHEAP is government funding with money that would post directly to your account if approved. Our WRAP program helps households with high electric use levels conserve energy, increase comfort, and reduce monthly energy bills. Thanks for your interest in our assistance programs.

Our OnTrack program (if you meet the financial criteria) offers a lower monthly bill based on family size, income and electric usage. Operation Help provides a credit to your account. LIHEAP is government funding with money that would post directly to your account if approved. Also, read about The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) that provides federal funding to help individuals. Thanks for reaching out.
